General information about Pakistan
Islamic Republic of Pakistan (اِسلامی جمہوریہ پاكِستان) located in South Asia having 1,046 kilometers (650-miles) coastline among the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman sharing boarders with India, Afghanistan, Iran, China. Pakistan has population of 212.2 million ranked fifth most populous country and by the land area it is on 33 in world ranking spanning 881,913 kilometers (340,509) square miles.
History of Pakistan
Pakistan was ruled by some of the ancient and different culture’s Kingdoms like Hindu, Indo Greeks, Afghans and Sikhs. The area has been ruled by some of the biggest numerous empires and dynasties for centuries such as Persian Achaemenid Empire, The Seleucid Empire, Alexander III of Macedon, The Indian Maurya Empire, The Gupta Empire, Umayyad Caliphate, The Ghurid Sultanate, The Ghaznavid Empire and many more at the end The British Indian Empire.
The Resolution Day
On 23rd of March 1940, 25 members working committee of All-India Muslim league biggest leaders of nation decided that they need a separate country so, the can live independently according to their religion Islam because Hindu culture and life style was very different from Muslims and that day is called “The Resolution Day of Pakistan”
Independence and Laws & Constitutions
On 14th of August 1947 Pakistan got independence by succeeding in Pakistan Movement. The country first adopted the constitution in 1950 and the first president of Pakistan was Iskander Mirza and first Governor General was the founder of Pakistan Qaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In 1973 Pakistan adopted a new constitution in which stipulated that all the laws are to conform to the injunction of Islam as according to Quran and Sunnah.
Force and Intelligence Agency
Pakistan has the sixth largest armed forces in the world and it also one those country having nuclear power also ranked in emerging and growth leading economics of the world. Pakistan’s intelligence agency (ISI) is still on the top of the list in 2020.
In Pakistan there are more than sixty languages spoken some of the most popular are Sindhi, Punjabi, Balochi, Pashto, Siraiki and Urdu is the national language of more than 75% of the population can understand this language.
Some Beautiful Places
Some of the most beautiful and remarkable places are Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Lahore Fort, Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Saif ul Malook Lake, Kaghan Valley is about 155 kilometers long and the highest point is of 2,134 feet, Sheesh Mahal places of mirrors constructed in the time of Mughal Empire Shah Jahan in1632-1632, Mohenjo-Daro one the ancient cities from 2.500 BCE has signs of human live was found there in 1920s. the country has such a wonderful natural gifted beauty no one can resist.
