Liechtenstein: The most Wonderful Country in Europe

Liechtenstein FlagThe Principality of Liechtenstein is one of the most strikingly small countries on the European continent with a constitutional monarchy, one of the few independent small states in the world. The capital of this country is Fadutsa and the largest city is Shan. The language of the people of this country is German. The total area of the country is only 160 kilometers. The country is called a princely state because it is ruled by a prince. Like Switzerland, it is a neutral state.

The country was founded in 1819 and gained independence on August 8, 1806. The country's economy was incorporated into the Osto-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century. The name of the national currency was changed to Switzerland. Later in 1924, it formed a customs, economic and monetary agreement with Switzerland. Therefore, no border line should be opened between the two countries. The country is basically an agricultural country. The country is called the landlocked country in the world.


Until the middle of the twentieth century, this country was a country of peasants. They were basically a peasant nation. But now this country is known as an industrialized and prosperous country. There are many small and big companies in this small country. The tax of these companies is taken at once. The population of this country is less but it is much more economically developed.

The country is a partner in the European Free Agreement. Another source of income for the country is the artistic stamp. It generates a lot of income and the banking system of the country is very developed.


It is one of the smallest states in the world. The country has a population of only 38,749 as of August 26, 2020, based on the latest United Nations estimates. It ranks 216 in the world in terms of population. The country's GDP is 6.215 billion USD (2016).


It is basically a cold country. In winter it snows and the valleys with mountains are covered with snow. So there is a great gathering of snowboarding, hiking, biking etc. Fireworks were displayed during the day. And everyone was given a wine on behalf of the prince.
