Controversies

On August 18, 2014, the daily Inqilab published an article titled 'One police officer's ultimate power by using the Prime Minister's name: He has established an undeclared Hindu League in the police department'. In this context, Rabiullah Robi, the news editor of the Daily Inqilab, was questioned following his detention in a case brought by the police under the ICT Act. Later, on August 24, Inqilab's editor said sorry on their news site for publishing the news.
